cravings

A pregnancy craving story I thought was pretty funny.

"Early in my pregnancy I had many cravings. I craved ice cream, mashed potatoes, Caesar salad, and I especially craved kosher dill pickles. One evening, I opened up the refrigerator and found that we were out of pickles, but fortunately the jar still remained in the refrigerator. So, I stood there and drank the pickle juice straight from the jar! I would have gotten away with it, but my husband caught me in the act and poured the rest of the pickle juice right down the drain."

I didn't really crave anything when I was pregnant. It's funny how your tastebuds change though because I wanted nothing with flavor. Yes, plain chicken, mashed potatoes and corn was really all I could keep down-safely. Forget about fruit juices and anything with red sauce. I hope thats not the case next time I'm pregnant. I really want to be able to eat anything and no morning sickness...please?!
